Pentacam^® user meeting Taipei

HWA-In Taiwanese distributor of OCULUS hosted a Pentacam® Symposium for more than 40 doctors (hospital department head or clinic president)

on May 1st, 2011 at the Le Meridien Taipei. After the opening remarks of Dr. Lin Hunyu, the invited speaker from Singapore, Dr. Chua Weihan, gave a talk based on his long experience with the unit at Singapore National Eye Center, about the use of the OCULUS Pentacam® in clinical practice, covering both refractive and cataract applications of the device. This paved the way for Dr. Yau Chiwang who elaborated on screening candidates for refractive surgery. After a short break the use of the Pentacam® in cataract surgery cases was presented by Dr. Wang Mengchi. The last two speakers discussed interesting applications of the Pentacam® in the anterior segment practice (Dr. Wu Chienliang) and applications in cornea surgery (Dr. Chen Chunliang). A final discussion concluded the presentations, and after a hands-on session on Pentacam® and PARK1® a fine dinner was served to farewell the Pentacam® user group of Taiwan.
